The Visionaire is a terrific wine from Franschhoek and is one of our best sellers. This is a great alternative for fans of Chocolate Block, made from a similar blend of grape varieties. On the nose, there are lashings of dark, ripe notes of plums/damsons, a touch of chocolate/coffee bean and some lovely integrated oak, with a well-pronounced spice from the Syrah. On the palate, it is full-bodied, juicy with a firm, ripe tannin structure backed by well-balanced acidity.
All wines will be decanted/poured on the day of your delivery and are intended for consumption within 48 hours of purchase to guarantee the freshness and quality of the wine.
