Tenuta del Melo can be found in the heart of Gavi’s hills. It is owned by the Rossi Cairo family who have promoted sustainable agriculture in the region for many years. Today Tenuta del Melo is certfied Biodynamic by Demeter. The estate itself covers 20 hectares planted with both Cortese and Barbera vines planted on marl soils.
The wine is fresh, mineral and fruity with lovely texture and length. Lovely citrus notes and fresh acidity make this a great wine to serve as an aperitif or with fresh white fish dishes.
