The vineyards are dominated by schist soils perforated with limestone with a small percentage of sandstone as well as clay.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eDomaine la Sarabande is a relatively modest Domaine with 9.5 Ha spread over 4 vineyard sites.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBousigue is the old name of the region where our Mourvédre vineyard is located. It sits on a south-facing, well-drained slope. This is particularly important for the notoriously late-ripening Mourvèdre variety. As Mourvèdre is difficult to grow, this wine is only produced in the best years.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTasting note: Made from 80% Mourvedre 20% Syrah this wine is a deep colour with pretty nuances of aromas. thyme characters wild and dried meat are also present.
