But running vertical through that slow-swirling spiral are tight, glinting-green and silvery threads of lavender, crushed granite, dried oregano, rosemary flowers, river stone and lemon sherbet. So fresh, so very fresh, and yet rich, creamy and almost voluptuous at heart. And so alive, so peppery.
