Grenache Garnacha Kaesler

Located in Barossa Valley · Australia

When the Kaesler family moved to the Barossa Valley in the 1840s, they were pioneers in developing the area’s potential. They expanded their land out to 96 acres, and by 1893 the whole estate was planted with vines. Incredibly, some of those vines still survive today, providing an ancient foundation for the estate’s full-flavoured wines.

With the family keen to make the most of its historic roots, much of its acreage is still dedicated to old vines – both the areas just around the winery and the additional block on the western side of the Barossa Valley. These plots produce some of the Barossa’s best known and respected estate-grown premium wines.
