Jeanneret that goes well with Pork

The motto at Jeanneret Wines is ‘naturally perfect’, and its philosophy is a straightforward one: simply to make the best wines possible. This is a winery that doesn’t follow trends or get bogged down in rules, it just makes what it loves. The result is a collection of charismatic wines that are big on both quality and flavour.

The winery was founded by the Jeanneret family in 1992, with their hobby of making wines for their own enjoyment soon expanding into a thriving business. The cellar door opened in 1994, headed up by self-taught winemaker Ben Jeanneret, who has worked hard to perfect his art and become known as one of the Clare Valley’s leading winemakers. Jeanneret’s premium-quality wines have earned it the title of Five Star Winery, with Ben being named one of the ‘Ten Dark Horses’ by James Halliday in 2015.

The brand evolved again in 2017 with the development of three new collections: the Deco Range, Purist Range and Le-Corbusier Range, all inspired by the Swiss art deco architect (also known as Charles-Édouard Jeanneret). The Nautilus shell of the logo and label designs is also a nod to Le Corbusier, whose work was based on perfect proportions and harmonious colours – rather like the wines.
