Pinot Noir Gremillet

Located in Champagne · France

When Jean-Michel Gremillet established his Champagne house in 1979, his ambition was to conquer the export market and become a supplier for the diplomatic market.

It took a lot of hard work, but the dream became a reality: Gremillet is now the drink of choice for prestigious receptions at more than 50 embassies and consulates around the world. And the company continues to grow and develop, with Jean-Michel’s children Anne and Jean-Christophe now joining the firm alongside their respective spouses Stephane and Karine.

The winery now produces nearly 500,000 bottles a year, supplementing its own grapes with those sourced from other high-quality producers close to their Balnot sur Laignes location. The Gremillet vineyards themselves stretch over 48 hectares of mainly limestone soils, on steep and sunny slopes that allow the grapes to thrive and reach their full potential.
