"Tasted at the Cru Bourgeois annual tasting, the 2015 Chateau Balac offers tightly wound, almost broody black fruit on the nose with touches of cedar and sous bois. The palate is medium-bodied with a gentle grip on the entry, a fine bead of acidity and quite a muscular finish that suggests it will benefit from another three years in bottle. Good potential.
